Meet Bob Hatton, Founder
Bob’s interest in insects began when he was a child collecting bugs and learning everything he could about them. That early curiosity eventually became a pest-control career in 1993.
Since then, he has inspected thousands of properties, crawled beneath homes, climbed into attics, and helped families solve the pest problems most people would rather not think about. Along the way, he learned that customers weren’t merely looking for someone to eliminate bugs—they were looking for someone they could trust.

Chief Bob
Bob performs annual services, new-customer inspections, customized treatment plans, and oversees the company’s preventative pest management programs. With pest-control experience dating back to 1993, he believes in listening carefully, inspecting thoroughly, and explaining exactly what each property needs—and what it doesn’t. His practical recommendations and commitment to dependable service have helped Bug Cops earn the trust of local families for decades.
Officer Mike
Mike has been a familiar face to Bug Cops customers since joining the company in 2006. After spending many years working in lawn and ornamental care, he now provides routine exterior pest protection. Mike focuses on helping customers stay ahead of pest problems through dependable preventative treatments, careful attention to each property, and friendly personal service.
Deputy Jude
Jude is the newest member of the Bug Cops team, but he brings several years of hands-on field experience. As Mike’s son and Chief Bob’s nephew, he represents the next generation of our family-operated company. Jude assists with pest and termite services and approaches every property with care and attention. His willingness to learn, work hard, and serve our customers makes him a valued part of the Bug Cops family each day.
Dispatcher Karen
When you call Bug Cops, Karen is usually the first voice you hear. She coordinates appointments, answers questions, and helps keep communication flowing between customers and our field team. With more than 25 years of bookkeeping and office experience, Karen also oversees the administrative side of the company. Her friendly manner, careful organization, and knowledge of our customers help ensure that every person receives prompt, personal service from a familiar local team that genuinely cares about protecting their home or business.
