Fire Ants are a major problem in our area. The imported fire ant bites to get a grip then stinging to inject a toxic venom. It is very painful! The problem with fire ants is that you can be standing in your back yard and all of a sudden it seems like an army of ants sting at once! Children and family pets are more susceptible as sometimes, they don’t realize that these Fire Ants have intruded into the area, until it is too late!  If allergic, there can be a serious reaction.
